Summary
As an Automotive Washer/Detailer Lead at NW Navigator Luxury Coaches, LLC, you will play a vital role in overseeing and maintaining the pristine condition of our luxury vehicles. Located in the Pacific Northwest, this position is essential to upholding our reputation for excellence and ensuring that every ride meets our Triple Clean Guarantee.
Hours: M-F, 8PM – 4:30AM. Some overtime and weekends, as required.
Pay: $25.00 to $30.00/hour, dependent upon experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform Quality Control to ensure no vehicle slips out of our fleet yard without looking ‘show room’ ready, both inside and outside of each vehicle. This may mean performing touch up work yourself or following up with the cleaning team to review company cleaning standards and have them reclean the vehicles.
- Work in a constructive, positive manner to develop washing and detailing processes of excellence with fellow team members.
- Perform thorough detailing of luxury motorcoaches, including interior and exterior cleaning.
- Buff and polish vehicle surfaces to maintain a high-gloss finish.
- Ensure team members understand how to conduct regular inspections to ensure vehicles meet cleanliness and safety standards and follow through in a timely manner.
- Wash and vacuum vehicles, ensuring all areas are spotless.
- Apply window tinting as needed to enhance passenger comfort and privacy.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring everything is in good working order.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any specific requests from passengers or staff.
- Collaborate with the operations team to schedule detailing services efficiently.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years successfully supervising other employees is required. We’re not looking for a Captain Bly here. We are looking for someone who is an effective communicator and mentor, who can firmly but positively hold employees accountable for washing and detailing work performed.
- Proven experience in automotive detailing or a related field such as professional housekeeping or janitorial services is required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Ability to drive and operate various types of vehicles safely. Position requires training for and securing a Class B Commercial Driver License (CDL) with Passenger endorsement within 6 months of starting (This is covered by the company).
- Familiarity with window tinting techniques is a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of effective cleaning products and techniques for luxury vehicles is preferred or comparable experience withing the areas of professional housekeeping or janitorial services.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Must complete a criminal background check.
- Drug test, including for marijuana (because we are regulated by the Dept. of Transportation and marijuana is still not legal, nationally), is required.
